Cardinal Langley is the Catholic Secondary High for the Middleton area of Rochdale Metropolitan Borough. As a school, we are honoured to serve the local Church in this way and we take seriously the responsibilities this involves.

The Catholic nature of the school is based on the teaching tradition of the De La Salle Brothers, who were the original Trustees of the school.

We aim to show these beliefs in the way we live our lives each day. The way every person within our community is treated and valued is important. Every child coming into the school will be welcomed into a warm and happy atmosphere in which good relationships are the norm.

Cardinal Langley is a happy and successful school. We have high expectations of standards of behaviour and academic achievement which apply to everybody in the school. We aim to encourage the talents of all our children in every way possible so that they will go out into the world as confident and well balanced young people.
