Introductory Session:- MY APPROACH TO MORALITY
Here are some statements about morality, (the rightness or wrongness of human actions). Answer "true" or "false" to the following statements. Then, decide if your answer is Christian or not.
True or False?
1. Something is all right if the majority thinks it is all right.
2. It is OK to drink alcohol before driving as long as no one gets hurt
3. I have the duty to give to the poor even if I have to deny myself some fun times.
4. It is OK for me to take supplies from an office if I don't take much .
5. People should be allowed to exclude anyone they want from their neighbourhood. .
6. I always have the duty to follow my conscience.
7. People should not feel unduly concerned about having so much material wealth. They should thank God for his blessings and not worry too much about giving a lot of their wealth away.
8. We must be just to people, that is, give them their due. But, we don't have to be charitable, that is, give them more than their due.
9. In quite a few cases known to me, premarital sexual activity is OK.
10. I have to love others but I don't have to like them.
